The first step in any SEO process is to conduct a complete analysis of the website, including any pages which are to be optimised.
The analysis will look at the following areas;
- • On-page content and relevance to pre set keyword search phrases.
- • Layout of the content .
- • Comparison of the content to any similar or copied text. Search engines will not read content that has been copied and so the page will not have any relevance to your chosen key search terms.
- • Quantity of text. The search engines have an ideal level of content which should be met in order to achieve best practice.
- • Meta Tags, Alt Tags. These are places where the search engines look for vital information about the site and will help with indexing.
- • We will look at your inbound links, where they have been generated from and how beneficial they are to your site.
- • We will do a comparison on your main competition on all the above to assess how much work is needed in order to get your site above your competition in the search results.
As part of our full SEO management program we conduct the analysis on a monthly basis so as we can see the improvement in search rankings, and the performance of your main competitors. We also use Google Analytics to study visitor activity on your site.
